Welcome to Mercy Worldwide Ministries Anglican Church.  We serve our churches and congregations in a myriad of ways including leadership and bereavement training, humanitarian outreach, and Christian education through our College of Chaplains.

We have an award-winning ministry team experienced in chaplaincy, grief counseling, hospice, support group management, leadership, TV production, graphic design, church planting, and Christian education and ministry. Our church feeds the homeless, cares for and educates orphans and displaced youth, trains clergy, builds homes within the poorer communities, ministers to the sick and dying, leads health camps in underprivileged communities, partners with committees in social Justice endeavors to fight against discrimination, human trafficking, and child labor.

Our mission is truly global - we have teams working in over fifty countries including the United States of America, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, across Europe, Colombia, Brazil, Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria, the Philippines, Portugal, India, Tibet, and the UK. Our films reach millions across social media. We pray for thousands of our global Prayer Partners daily believing that this is one of the greatest gifts that we can give to them as they serve in God's Holy Church and mission fields.

Mission & Vision & College of Chaplains

Our mission is to equip communities with fully trained qualified men and women who will serve as Chaplains wherever there is a need. Our vision is to install a minimum of one Chaplain per diocese who will act as captain over a platoon of volunteer chaplains who will specialize in a myriad of ministries including hospital, hospice, prison, emergency services, schools, and special needs.

MWMAC is an affiliate of the International Federation of Christian Chaplains, with a training College for Chaplaincy based in Cleveland, Ohio. On our COLLEGE OF CHAPLAINS page, you will learn more about how you can become a Certified Christian Chaplain if called by God and qualified. In addition to IFCC online theory training, we work with you to strengthen your ministry in action as effective Servant Leaders in your church and community.

MWMAC College of Christian Chaplains equips you with POWERFUL tools to handle most situations that you will encounter within your ministry, including pre-natal deaths, sudden loss, community tragedies, suicide, the elderly and much more. Our members include all Christian denominations including Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Pentecostal, Catholic, Anglican, AME, Presbyterian, COC and is open to ministers who have been serving for a minimum of five years.

Membership in the College of Chaplains is available to qualified Chaplains who have graduated from the International Federation of Christian Chaplains.

We invite you to visit our page above to see how you can become a qualified and globally recognized certified Chaplain today through the IFCC, and how you can apply to join Mercy Worldwide Ministries Anglican Church  COLLEGE OF CHAPLAINS for your ongoing training and placement.

Jesus Christ urged his disciples to “go and make disciples of all nations”. Anglicans and Episcopalians around the world are still responding to that ‘Great Commission’ today by supporting evangelism, training, discipleship and church growth globally.

2016 - GOLD MEDAL - Former 44th President of the USA, the Honorable Barack Obama, awarded Mercy Worldwide Ministries Anglican Church with his gold medal for our Volunteer Service.

2016 - LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD - Former 44th President of the USA, the Honorable Barack Obama honored our Archbishop ++ Dr. Christine Mercy Johnson with his Lifetime Achievement Award for her Service and education to the United States of America.

In part, President Obama said to Archbishop Johnson, "Congratulations on receiving the President's Service Award, and thank you for helping to address the most pressing needs in your community and our country. In my Inaugural Address, I stated that we need a new era of responsibility - a recognition on the part of every American that we have duties to ourselves, our Nation, and the world. These are duties that we do not grudgingly accept, but rather seize gladly, firm in the knowledge that there is nothing more satisfying to the spirit than giving our all to a difficult task. Your service demonstrates the kind of commitment to your community that moves America a step closer to its great promise. Individuals, the private sector, and government must combine efforts to make a real and lasting change so that each person has the opportunity to fulfill his or her potential. While the government can open more opportunities for us to serve our communities, it is up to each of us to seize those opportunities. Thank you for your devotion to service and for doing all you can to shape a better tomorrow for our great Nation."
