COLLEGE OF

CHRISTIAN CHAPLAINS

"Today, chaplaincy has become a highly recognized and respected profession. MWM COLLEGE OF CHAPLAINS was established to create a sense of identity, accountability and on-going training for its members. Our Chaplains visit the sick in hospitals, hospices, nursing homes and at their residence, giving encouragement, prayer, and counsel. We visit the incarcerated, pray and serve those who are homeless, visit and encourage our veterans and take the love of Jesus Christ out into the community wherever there is a need for prayer and comfort. Our Chaplains are ready to serve God at any time, anywhere and under any situation.

Our Chaplains have graduated from the International Federation of Christian Chaplains with diplomas, and they all carry i.d. badges and metal badges with their name and distinct number. These credentials are recognized across the world."

THE PRINCIPAL

OF THE INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF CHRISTIAN CHAPLAINS

Dr. Mynor Vargas is the Senior Pastor of Shalom Christian Temple. He developed and founded the "International Federation of Christian Chaplains, Inc.," (chaplainfederation.com) with the sole purpose of training and providing the appropriate Credentials to “Qualified and Experienced” Ministers around the World.

At the present time, Dr. Vargas' Media Ministry and Church Network reach more than 50 countries, thousands of Ministers and over 12,000,000 people with the Gospel of Jesus.

This program is a 12-week learning course, with over 30 years of Dr. Vargas' experience and teachings; all resumed and articulated in 100 pages.

Chaplaincy is the act of visiting someone who is in a moment of crisis with the objective of strengthening them spiritually, reassuring them and advising them (guiding them) in this difficult moment.

Jesus himself in His eschatological sermon said this: “I was sick and in prison and you visited me…” (Matthew 25:36.) This Christian act of visiting is also recorded in the early church when Paul was invited to go into the house of Lydia. (Acts 15: 13-15.) Paul and Silas went to the house of the jailer. (Acts 16: 31-33.) Paul went to visit the house of the Centurion Cornelius by divine appointment (Acts 10: 1-20.) A Chaplain is a Ministering Visitor.

The Chaplaincy is an extension of the local, national, and international Christian church that reaches different parts of society as a religious and cultural projection.

Chaplains take spiritual healing to people in hard times. Chaplains practice the functions of a pastor, teacher, evangelist, missionary, counselor, and administrator in certain matters seeing as they represent Jesus Christ and the church from outside of its four walls to inside the receiving agency.
